Our Heritage
In 1898, Edward Palmer Mallory took over Routley, the jewellers that occupied no 1 Bridge Street. Edward ran the company that would find fame as EP Mallory & Son Ltd in partnership with his wife, Mrs MT Mallory. Over the years, Mallory’s reputation steadily grew under the couple’s stewardship, both locally and among visitors to Bath staying in hotels with names redolent of bygone elegance, such as the Grand Pump and the Empire.
